I woke up really early on the 13th of June. And in my head, I was thinking Oh my gosh. FIRST DAY!
I had all the time in the world to prepare, still a bit afraid of entering the premises of the university where I will be studying for the next four years. But I was more concerned with the possibility that I might regret taking up the course.
Fortunately, I didn't regret anything. More of, if I didn't continue taking it and studied in medical school with most of my high school friends, I guess I wouldn't be happier today.
My first college friend was Nigel. But don't get me wrong. Nigel is a girl. Even I was shocked when she first introduced herself to me. It's pretty funny to think of the coincidence that she and even her handwriting shared same name and same handwriting with my Chemistry teacher in high school. (Not to mention I have a classmate in NSTP wherein her family name is the same with that of my Physics teacher in HS)
I met another friend, Hannah, but we won't be together in any class since she's of another course.
And the day went by swiftly and that's when I realized how close we got on first day of school.
We were only about 24 (I recounted) taking up single and double majors for the Education course, and most of us are Physics-Math students, including me. We had two foreign students so we had to speak English all the time. Including the teachers. And speaking of teachers, I finally met in person (Hahahaha) the batchmate of some of my high school teachers. He's teaching Chemistry for the whole semester. And yesterday we had our formal class in Chem and dang, I'm loving the subject! Though I know how much I despised it in high school (yet ironically got a high grade).
I'm currently taking a break from reviewing my high school Math because later on we will be discussing it in Trigo and in Algebra. Hahaha
Will keep you posted Ü
