Come What May

Wow, it has been WEEKS since I last posted an entry here. It just shows how busy I am as a college student. :)

Anyway, these past few weeks had been a TOTAL BLESSING. Why? Significant events happened every single day. Seriously, something awesome would really happen. And right now, I guess I'm looking forward to my classes later.

July 15 was our SESO Acquaintance Party, held at Tubod Flowing Waters Resort in Minglanilla. Four swimming pools, cute cottages, awesome slides, you name it. It was the second time I've been there (first time was like, grade 5? Oh my, really long time :| ) and DANG! FUN AT ITS FULLEST! I technically arrived first (was supposed to go with a classmate but she woke up late and all. And told me to go ahead) followed by four SMEDers (two third years and two classmates) and we headed towards our reserved five-cottages-two-pool area. We were disappointed at first since the pools in our vicinity was not DEEP. But still managed to swim around while waiting for others (who arrived thirty minutes later. Hahahaha we solo-ed the pool!). Then after a few minutes, the pools became deeper due to the water fountain near it. And yeah. HAD FUN \m/ Especially the food part and the slide part in the biggest pool in the resort :)

PRE-MIDTERMS was okay. Hahahaha we had undergone the exams of all subjects except College Algebra (which we will be taking this tomorrow. Sigh.)

July 19 was the first SESO Mass Sponsorship held at the USC Church (yes, the Church. Not the Chapel). I documented the event as instructed by the SESO Secretary. One of the higher year people sang in the singing group which was awesome \m/ And yeah. That Holy Mass brought back all good vibes. Praise the Lord :)

July 20 was the freshmen and transferees' Affinity Party, held in the afternoon of the aforementioned date. Most of us were hectic to join since, according to our higher years, it's plain boring. But since we were told by our Chemistry professor that "Though it's not compulsory, you have to go." Of course we had to go since all classes of the freshmen and transferees in the afternoon were suspended because of that event. And fortunately, we were given a free ride by our school bus. And arriving at the downtown campus of the university, we learned that the registration was according to college. Engineering had a really long line, followed by the School of Business and Commerce, and so on and so forth. FORTUNATELY, College of Education had no registrants so we were able to register immediately. Though the site of it somehow told us that CoEd has few students. Hahaha but of course, after that, and the free snacks, we were bored on waiting for 3 o'clock (the starting time of the party) and my college best friend (the one I'm closest with) suggested to go to a movie house somewhere near. We were hesitant at first since all of us were scarce with money but still went on with it. We watched Insidious and heck, it was fun! With all the screams and the food and the small room we were in, it definitely made my day ♥ But of course, thereafter, three of us including me went back to the Affinity party. Yeah. Hahaha

I guess that's all for now. I shall be posting pictures within this week (after undergoing Algebra exam). Have to prepare for today's class :)
